Chief Executive: Karen Docherty

Karen Docherty took up post as Project & Quality Assurance Manager for the Company in August 2006 (break June-September 2007) and was promoted to Chief Executive in September 2009.

Karen has been the driving force behind building DSA QAG to the reputation and status the organisation holds within the DSA sector, with the various funding bodies and the Department for Business Innovation & Skills.

Karen has a wealth of knowledge and has worked for the Student Loans Company (12 years) and Department for Education and Skills (4 years) and closely with HEIs and Local Authorities for almost sixteen years including knowledge of DSA funding and processes. In addition she has over 18 years of experience in auditing and quality assuring systems, reviewing and implementing business processes and procedures in both the private and public sector.

Operations Manager:  

QA & Audit Officer: Robyn Mullen

Robyn Mullen took up the post of part time Administration Support Officer in November 2011 and was promoted to full time in January 2012. Robyn was promoted to Trainee QA & Audit Officer in September 2012. Following a successful training period, Robyn was promoted to QA & Audit Officer in July 2013.

Since leaving university in 2010, Robyn has administration and customer service experience in private organisations. As part of Robyn's traineeship, she will be undertaking audit and quality assurance qualifications sponsored by the organisation.

Administration Support Officer :Gillian Gray

Gillian Gray took up the post of Administration Support Officer in August 2013.

Gillian has a number of years experience in administration and customer service with HMIE (Her Majestys Inspection of Education) and private companies and brings this to support the DSA QAG team.

Finance Officer (Part-time): Jennifer Hamilton

Jennifer attends to DSA QAGs financial accounting, ensuring that the charities accounting is in order for each financial year.
