Disabled Students Allowances Quality Assurance Group (DSA-QAG) employs a team of five key staff members in Glasgow, who carry out the work of DSA-QAG, auditing over 200 assessment centres, outreach centres and Assistive Technology Service (ATS) providers, and developing new projects to help meet our aims as an organisation.
In addition, we have a team of 15 regional auditors with our third party audit organisation, BDO who we have recruited to work in partnership with.

Karen Docherty took up post as Project & Quality Assurance Manager for the company in August 2006 and was promoted to Chief Executive in September 2009. Karen has been the driving force behind building DSA QAG to the reputation and status the organisation holds within the DSA sector, with the various funding bodies and the Department for Education. Karen has a wealth of knowledge and has worked for the Student Loans Company (12 years) and Department for Education and Skills (4 years) and closely with HEIs and Local Authorities for almost sixteen years including knowledge of DSA funding and processes. In addition she has over 25 years of experience in auditing and quality assuring systems, reviewing and implementing business processes and procedures in both the private and public sector. |

Operations Manager |

Jim Kersse joined DSA-QAG as the Field Auditor in August 2015 and after a successful period with QAG takes on the role of Operations Manager in February 2016. Jim has many years working in an operational role within the private and public sector (Scottish Ambulance Service) in process improvements, managed Information Security Management Systems and has extensive experience of stakeholder management bringing his invaluable experience to the DSA-QAG and the DSA sector. |

QA & Audit Officer |

Robyn Mullen took up the post of part time Administration Support Officer in November 2011 and was promoted to full time in January 2012. Robyn was promoted to Trainee QA & Audit Officer in September 2012. Following a successful training period, Robyn was promoted to QA & Audit Officer in July 2013. Since leaving university in 2010, Robyn has administration and customer service experience in private organisations. As part of Robyn's traineeship, she will be undertaking audit and quality assurance qualifications sponsored by the organisation. |

Finance Officer (Part-Time) |

Since 2012, Jennifer Hamilton attends to DSA-QAGs financial accounting, ensuring that the charities accounting is in order for each financial year. |

Administration Support Officer |
|
Lance Johnson took up the post of Administration & QA Officer in July 2016. Lance has a number of years in various administrative positions in the United States of America and will be responsible for supporting the DSA-QAG team in the administration of audits. |
