Staff

DSA-QAG employs six staff members, who carry out the work of DSA-QAG, auditing assessment centres and suppliers, and developing new projects to help meet our aims as an organisation.  DSA-QAG is based in Glasgow, with the field auditors work in their respective regions.

Central Administration Unit Staff Profiles

Karen Docherty took up post as Project & Quality Assurance Manager for the Company in August 2006 (break June- September 2007) and was promoted to Chief Excutive in September 2009.
 
Karen has a wealth of knowledge and has worked for the SLC (12 years) and DfES (4 years)  and closely with HEIs and Local Authorities for almost sixteen years including knowledge of DSA funding and processes. In addition she has over 12 years experience in auditing and quality assuring systems and business processes and procedures in both the private and public sector.

Lorraine Hill took up post as Senior Quality Assurance Officer for the Company in November 2008.

Lorraine has extensive Public Sector & NDPB experience, having worked for Glasgow City and Scottish Enterprise over the past 26 years. During this time, the role she has undertaken have been IT Manager, Service Delivery Manager and latterly Governance and Value Manager. In this last role the remit included measuring, monitoring and improving the quality and value of a wide range of services to stakeholders,internal customers and members of the public.

Emma Baxter returned to work part-time as the Administration Officer for the company in July 2009 whilst undertaking a college course.

Mechelle Hall took up the post as Field Auditor  - Business Process & Procedures for the Company in April 2009.

With experience in both the public and private sector in project management and internal audit.

Andy Harris took up post as Field Auditor  - Business Process & Procedures for the Company in February 2010.
